Caring for Your Dal Segno Piece

Caring for concert wear is not about frequent washing, but about thoughtful maintenance that will ensure your Dal Segno pieces last many concert seasons.

General Care

• Air garments after each performance
• Avoid unnecessary washing
• Use a garment bag when travelling
• Allow fabrics to rest between wears

Washing

• Follow the label instructions precisely
• When in doubt: professional dry cleaning
• Avoid home washing for structured or tailored pieces
• Don’t tumble dry

Ironing & Steaming

• Prefer steaming over ironing 
• Use low heat only
• Avoid direct heat on delicate or matte surfaces
• Always test steam on an inside seam first

Storage

• Hang long garments to avoid creasing (see Dal Segno GARMENT BAG  product page) 
• Use padded or shaped hangers
• Store in breathable garment bags (see Dal Segno GARMENT BAG product page) 
• Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight
